Terms of Service

1. What we provide

ProLink is a matching service. You choose a service category, describe your project and pay a matching fee. We review your request and introduce outside experts we have reviewed or know well from our own network, by email.

The experts are independent. They are not our employees or agents, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and an expert. You agree the scope, price, schedule and payment of any work directly with the expert; those payments don't go through this website.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account and submit requests. Before paying, you confirm your age and accept these terms and the Refund Policy.

Give accurate information and verify your email before submitting a request. Keep your password safe; actions taken with your account are treated as yours. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.

3. Requests and the matching fee

Each request covers one service and has the matching fee shown on the website. The fee is charged in US dollars. The payment provider adds a processing fee at checkout; the final amount is shown on the payment page.

A request is submitted once the payment is confirmed. A request that isn't paid within 24 hours is canceled, and you aren't charged for it.

The matching fee pays for reviewing your request and introducing experts. It doesn't pay for any work by an expert, and we don't guarantee that you will reach an agreement with an expert or the results of their work.

4. Matching window and refunds

If we don't recommend an expert within 7 business days, we refund the full amount you paid, including the payment processing fee, without conditions. How business days are counted and how refunds work is set out in the Refund Policy.

5. What you may not do

Don't use the website for fraud, unlawful purposes or to send misleading requests, and don't interfere with how it works. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the work, conduct or advice of any expert. Our total liability for a request is limited to the amount you paid for it.

7. Changes

We may change these terms and will update the effective date on this page. Requests already paid stay under the terms you accepted when you paid.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
